Our Brand Design
Is Process

A question we get asked a lot is, “what is your brand design process like?” So here is a behind-the-scenes look at our brand design process and how we work collaboratively with clients to ensure we build something long-lasting that showcases your brand’s unique story and connects with your customers.

Our design process probably looks a little different than other studios for a few reasons:

Brand strategy workshop. We cannot build an amazing brand unless we have a clear strategy from the beginning. We approach the strategy phase by asking you to fill out a short questionnaire and create two boards on Pinterest during the onboarding process. Next, we’ll set up a strategy workshop where we’ll learn more about your brand. The strategy workshop will last around 2 hours, during which we’ll go over questions and exercises to understand your brand on a deeper level.
Strategy research. After the strategy workshop is done, our team will start our research phase, where we’ll uncover – your industry, competitors, customer research, unique value proposition, and so much more. By having a solid foundation, we can easily design a brand that tells a story and connects with your brand’s customers.
Brand strategy guide. We will compile all of the information into a 20+ page strategy guide so that you can refer back to it.
One concept approach. Instead of multiple logos to choose from, we present one concept that completely aligns with the brand strategy we’ve created. By doing this, we can avoid going with branding that is trendy but instead branding that is timeless.

Just like with anything, our brand design process changes and evolves. But here is a look at what it is like to work with our studio:

Inquiry & onboarding

The best way to start the process is to fill out our inquiry form by clicking here. Next, we’ll set up a discovery call to learn more about your business and the project goals and see if we’d be a good fit. 

After the discovery call, we will send you a proposal within 24 hours of our call. Once the proposal is approved, we will send you the contract, invoice, and welcome packet.

Project set-up

We try and make the onboarding process as simple as possible! Some project management tools that we use are Honeybook, Trello, and Google Drive.

Brand strategy workshop

One thing that sets our studio apart is our love for strategy.

We start off by sending you some “homework.” The homework includes a simple questionnaire that generally takes 15-20 minutes, and we ask you to set up a couple of Pinterest boards.

Next, we’ll prep for our strategy workshop. The workshop is incredibly interactive, and we hear clients say that they feel like they’ve peeled back layers of their business that they didn’t know existed after going through the workshop.

After the Strategy Workshop, we will do even more research over the next week. This allows us to craft a brand that is unique to your business, will allow you to stand out from the crowd, and will communicate your brand’s story.


Once the strategy is set in place, we can start to bring your brand to life!

The design phase generally takes 2 weeks, and we will present you with one concept that is in line with your strategy. Depending on your package, there are generally 1 or 2 rounds of revisions before moving on to the project’s next phase.

It’s launch time, yayy!

Our goal is for you to be confident with your new branding. To do this, we will set up a call with you to go over how to use your new branding and answer any questions that you may have.
