Sitemaps are taken care of for you on some platforms. Yoast’s article does an excellent job of describing and setting one up. However, if you don’t already have it, I recommend installing the Yoast Plugin for WordPress websites. It’s great for SEO, but you can also use it to submit a sitemap.
